BlackBerry "Pearl" 8100

In a Nutshell:

There are times when smaller is not necessarily better, such as when cell phone makers try to shoehorn every conceivable technology into their cell phone despite all of the restrictive geographic logic. Not only are ergonomics compromised but trying to locate, program, and control all of the varying features becomes a nightmare, to say nothing of the pinhead-sized buttons.

BlackBerry 8520

In a nutshell:

An entry-level BlackBerry Curve, with a new-fangled Trackpad to replace the annoying trackball on previous Curve models. The 8520 offers a full QWERTY keyboard, mobile e-mail, a basic camera and a media player, plus good memory and connectivity. But it cuts corners with the display, camera and lack of high-end features that are common in many smartphones.

BlackBerry Bold 9700

In a Nutshell:
blackberry Bold 9700 is the ultimate BlackBerry, even if it's not the ultimate smart phone. If you're already a CrackBerry addict, the 9700 will feed your need to keep connected, but, if you're not, the whole package may feel too much like business and not enough like the business.

BlackBerry Bold 9780

In a nutshell:

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is an upgraded version of the Bold 9700. It's the best business mobile, with a brilliant QWERTY keyboard, full email support, Wi-Fi, HSPA and outstanding battery life. The new Bold brings several minor improvements over the previous model, the main enhancement being the new BlackBerry 6 operating system. Available in Black or White.

BlackBerry Bold 9900

In a nutshell:

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the best BlackBerry ever! Bigger than previous Bolds, it benefits from a larger keyboard and a better screen. The screen is touch-sensitive too, and the new BlackBerry 7 operating system works very well. Backed up by a fast 1.2GHz processor, 768GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in memory, the Bold 9900 has everything a business workhorse needs, including BlackBerry's peerless messaging and security. We wish it had a larger battery though.

Blackberry Curve 8900

In a Nutshell:

If the BlackBerry Bold is too bold for you and the BlackBerry Storm doesn''t float your boat, then you may want to check out the BlackBerry Curve 8900, RIM''s latest email-friendly handset. One of RIM''s most compact phones to date, the 8900 looks great, and made us keen to discover whether good things really do come in small packages.

blackberry storm 1

In a nutshell:

Built on BlackBerry's reputation for the best in mobile email and web browsing, the Storm has a touchscreen user interface that incorporates a full virtual QWERTY keyboard. The Storm includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, video recording, a media player, GPS navigation, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 3G with HSDPA and 1GB of built-in memory plus the ability to expand the memory with a microSD card. However, the Storm is generating a lot of negative reviews from our users, so we have downgraded our rating to 2 stars.

Blackberry Storm 2

In a nutshell:

The Storm 2 offers a touchscreen user interface with a full virtual QWERTY keyboard together with powerful email, messaging and internet access, plus a good range of office applications and an organiser. In addition it includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, video recording, a media player, GPS navigation, WiFi, HSDPA and expandable memory. A range of improvements make the Storm2 easier to use than the original Storm, but the battery life is weak and some users may not like the SurePress touchscreen technology.

Blackberry Torch

In a nutshell:

The Torch is a groundbreaking phone for BlackBerry, with the new BlackBerry 6 operating system and a slide-out keyboard design. The new OS is a definite improvement over the previous version, but won't alienate existing users. The slide-out keyboard and capacitive touchscreen work very well. The Torch comes with integrated social messaging, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, a media player, excellent connectivity, outstanding battery life and plenty of memory. Its negatives are its chunkiness, its high cost and its slow processor. Available in Black, White or Red.
