LG Phones

LG Cookie Lite

In a nutshell:

The Cookie Lite is a tiny touchscreen phone with entry-level features. Undoubtedly cute, it's available in black and pink, and would make a great first phone.

LG Chocolate

In a Nutshell:

There are many things in life where quirkiness sells, and the latest Chocolate phone from LG (a significant difference to the original Chocolate phone) is certainly quirky. Many have associated the BL40 Chocolate's design with a television remote control, and we certainly agree.

LG GW520 (Calisto)

In a Nutshell:

The LG GW520 also know as the LG Calisto takes the company's popular KS360 style, updates it and adds some hardware beef to the package. But in a time when mobile phones are moving so fast, is this enough of an evolution over the smaller 2G sibling?

LG KP500 (COOKIE)

In a nutshell:

The LG KP500 is a touchscreen phone for those on a budget. It''s a compact device but with a large touchscreen display that''s easy and fun to use. With a 3.2 megapixel camera, a media player, an FM radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a memory card slot, this phone has all the essentials. Although it misses out on 3G and a top class camera, it has most features that most people will want, and for the money you''d be hard pressed to find anything better than this! Now available in Pink!

LG KS360

In a nutshell:

The key feature of the LG KS360 is its slide-out keypad, which makes it a perfect phone for keen texters or emailers. It's a budget PAYG phone, but it still manages to pack in a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio, MP3 ringtones, Bluetooth and a memory card slot. We love it!

LG Optimus 2X

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus 2X is the world's first smartphone with a dual-core processor. As well as providing an instantaneous response to user actions, this provides video acceleration, enabling video recording in Full HD 1080p resolution, as well as super-smooth flash video playback when web browsing or playing games. Super-fast internet access via 3G HSPA or Wi-Fi is possible, as well as output of photos, videos or games to a HDTV via the HDMI cable. A monster 1500 mAh battery provides power to the beast.

LG Optimus 3D

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus 3D is the world's first 3D phone. With a glasses-free 3D display, you can play genuine 3D games, watch 3D youtube videos, and even record your own 3D images and videos with the dual 5 megapixel cameras. Other highlights are the huge 4.3 inch screen, dual-core processor, 8GB of memory and fast web browsing. But the poor battery life stops the device from getting 5 stars.

LG Optimus Black

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus Black is a higher-end Android phone featuring a NOVA display for improved readability in bright sunlight. Running Android 2.2 with access to 150,000 apps, this is a powerful smartphone with a 1GHz processor, fast data access and plenty of battery power and memory. More powerful than mid-range Android phones, yet lacking the speed and features of the latest high-end models, the Optimus Black is worth considering if you're on a budget but don't want to compromise too much.

LG Optimus Me

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus Me is a budget Android phone that offers the benefits of smartphone apps, GPS with Google Maps and fast internet access. But there are too many compromises, especially the small screen, underpowered processor and limited memory.

LG Optimus One

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus One is a budget smartphone running Android 2.2 (Froyo). It ticks all the smartphone boxes, but compromises on most features. But for £15 a month on contract, you'll get a modern smartphone with great apps, full web functionality and brilliant satellite navigation. You'll get a music player, an FM radio, a very basic camera, fantastic battery life and great connectivity. It can't compete with the high-end Android phones, but it blows them out of the water when it comes to price.

LG Optimus White

In a nutshell:

The LG Optimus White is a higher-end Android phone featuring a NOVA display for improved readability in bright sunlight. Running Android 2.2 with access to 150,000 apps, this is a powerful smartphone with a 1GHz processor, fast data access and plenty of battery power and memory. More powerful than mid-range Android phones, yet lacking the speed and features of the latest high-end models, the Optimus White is worth considering if you're on a budget but don't want to compromise too much.

LG Pop

In a nutshell:

The LG Pop is a super-compact budget touchscreen phone. Despite its small size, it features a large touchscreen display with a fantastic fun user interface. The Pop delivers all the goods that you'd expect in this price range: a 3 megapixel camera, a media player, a stereo FM radio, a web browser, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and a memory card slot. Similar in many ways to the massive-selling Cookie, the Pop offers an updated user interface, a more compact design and an upmarket look.

LG Viewty KU990

In a nutshell:

We still love the Viewty! Combining a touchscreen user interface with plenty of technology, the Viewty ticks nearly all the boxes: 5 megapixel camera, 3G video calling, MP3 player, FM radio and HSDPA for broadband internet speeds and bags of memory. Available in black, silver, purple & pink.

LG Viewty Smart

In a nutshell:

The LG Viewty Smart is a massively upgraded version of the original Viewty. Its feature list includes a 480x800 hi-res 3 inch touchscreen running LG's new S-Class 3D user interface, a brilliant 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and a quality lens, music player, FM radio, A-GPS, 1.5GB memory, WiFi and HSDPA. All this in a slimline and lightweight modern-looking phone makes this a great phone, although it's not 100% reliable.

LG Viewty Snap

In a nutshell:

The LG Viewty Snap (or GM360) is an entry-level touchscreen phone with a great camera and a good-sized screen (although it's resistive, so is less responsive than capacitive touch screens.) It comes with a music player and an FM radio, but is missing GPS. Connectivity is pretty good, with Bluetooth, USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack, although there's no Wi-Fi. A memory card of up to 16GB can be added. Battery life is average. The phone looks good in Black or White, with chrome accents, and is slim and lightweight too.
