Nokia Phones

Nokia E7

In a nutshell:

The Nokia E7 is a powerful smartphone with a large 4 inch screen and a full-sized QWERTY keyboard, making it a good choice for email and texting. There are good features here including an 8 megapixel camera with HD video, a high quality media player, fast internet and 16GB memory. But it's a very large and heavy phone, with questionable battery life and dubious reliability and user-friendliness, thank to its Symbian operating system.

Nokia 2330 Classic

This sleek, simple handset offers everything we have come to expect from Nokia, stylish and usability. Presented to us in two colour choices, the Nokia 2330 classic will be available in black with the silver keypad trim, as pictured, or Deep Red. Weighing in at a polite 90 grams and with dimensions of 13.8mm x 46mm x 107mm, this handset fits neatly into most pockets. Once fully charged a talk time of 4.8 hrs and standby time of 540 hrs can be expected. Nokia 5130 XpressMusic

In a nutshell:

This is a cheap and cheerful phone from Nokia with an excellent range of features for the price. Available in Red and Blue.

Nokia 5230

In a nutshell:

The 5230 is an entry-level touchscreen smartphone. Its key features are its large touchscreen, A-GPS with Ovi Maps, 3G, downloadable apps from the Ovi store and outstanding battery life. On the other hand it has a poor camera, a mono speaker, no WiFi and no video calling. But for £50 on PAYG it's a bargain!

Nokia 5530

In a nutshell:

The 5530 is a cut-price touchscreen music phone that is Nokia's answer to the LG Cookie and the Samsung Tocco Lite. On Pay Monthly, it's hardly any more expensive than these competitors, but it offers a whole lot more. As well as having the highest resolution display in its class, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with a flash, an excellent video camera, a superb music player plus an FM radio, 4GB of memory, WiFi, a 3.5mm headphone jack and excellent battery life.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

In a nutshell:

The 5530 is a mid-range touchscreen music phone. As well as having one of the highest resolution displays in its class, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with a flash, a video camera, a superb music player plus an FM radio, 4GB of memory, WiFi, a 3.5mm headphone jack and excellent battery life. But it seems to be over-priced when compared with more modern phones in this class.

Nokia 5800

In a Nutshell:

Nokia's first touchscreen phone is impressively good. It may not have quite the polished feel of the iPhone, but with so many good features, it's in many ways better than the iPhone. Headline features include the very high resolution touchscreen with 16 million colours, the 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 3G video calling, an excellent web browser with support for Flash, the music player & FM radio, GPS positioning with Nokia Maps, WiFi, Bluetooth and an 8GB memory card. Available in black, red or blue.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

Available in black, red or blue.

Nokia 6300

In a nutshell:

Our favourite Nokia for years and the only Nokia phone ever to be rated 5 stars by our users. A classic design with a beautiful stainless steel finish. Slim, elegant, easy to use and with a good quality 2 megapixel camera, a built-in MP3 player, memory expandable to 2 Gbytes, and wireless Bluetooth connectivity. Only the below-average battery life stops this from getting 5 stars. Available in silver, black, white and chocolate.

Nokia 6303i Classic

In a nutshell:

The 6303i Classic is an easy-to-use budget handset with an attractive stainless steel finish and average features - a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, MP3 player, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, Nokia Maps, Bluetooth, 2GB memory card and good battery life. Available in Silver.

Nokia 6600 Slide

In a Nutshell:

The Nokia 6600 Slide is a compact and elegant mobile phone with a high quality slider that can be opened using one hand. The 6600 Slide is a slim 14mm thick and only weighs 110 grams. The outer casing is constructed from steel covers and the control keys are made from aluminum. For such a compact phone the Nokia 6600 Slide has a respectable 2.2 inch QVGA screen using 16.7 million colours to ensure a bright display. The 6600 Slide features the new tap technology from Nokia which allows the user to mute/reject calls or silence the alarm simply by tapping the outer case of the phone, I can see me being late for work a lot if I get this phone!

Nokia 6700 Classic

In a nutshell:

The 6700 Classic has smart looks, a quality metal finish and a high specification, and has been one of Nokia's biggest selling mid-range phones in recent years. Top features include a-GPS, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, a music player, an FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth, HSPA and a memory card. But it isn't a reliable phone. Things to watch out for include freezing / shutting down and breakable screens.

Nokia C1-01

In a nutshell:

The C1-01 is Nokia's entry-level offering, and is very much an old-style phone. If you want an old-fashioned mobile that makes calls, sends texts, plays music via MP3 or FM radio and has great battery life, you'll find it here. You won't find anything more than that, but it is very cheap.

Nokia C2-01

In a nutshell:

The C2-01 is a minimum-spec phone that does little more than the basics. Available in Black or Silver.

Nokia C3

In a nutshell:

The Nokia C3 is a cut-price BlackBerry lookalike, and that's no bad thing! It offers a full QWERTY keyboard, mobile e-mail, a basic camera and a media player, plus Wi-Fi, Facebook and Twitter and excellent battery life. Watch out for freezing and crashing, and be aware that the Wi-Fi isn't the most reliable. Available in Black, Blue, Gold or Pink.
