Sony Ericsson Phones

Sony Ericsson NAITE

In a Nutshell:

The Sony Ericsson NAITE, pronounced nighty, is the Eco Friendly mobile that will have Save the Planet subscribers drooling. This is one the first devices from the Green Heart programme, along with the Sony Ericsson C901. The Green Heart programme is committed to reducing packaging, using recycled plastics, waterborne paints which lower the exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and an in-phone manual instead of paper manuals. Thus saving on paper wastage. The Sony Ericsson NAITE includes an Ecomate application which will help users make greener choices in their everyday life and Carbon Footprint Calculator that shows the user how much CO2 you could be using by walking instead of taking the car. Shame it does not have an application to show you how to walk 3 miles without getting wet in UK climate or mugged.

Sony Ericsson Satio

In a Nutshell:
This review of the Sony Ericsson Satio is the story of a love that almost was, but could never be. We trembled at the Satio''s spectacular photo quality and zippy shutter speed, and then recoiled at its disappointing resistive touchscreen and complicated Symbian user interface. Our hearts melted over its excellent music quality, and then froze at the sight of its proprietary headphone jack. O Satio, Satio! Wherefore art thou, Satio?

Sony Ericsson T715

In a Nutshell:
It's small, looks vaguely familiar and, unlike most of Sony Ericsson's phones these days, doesn't come with any kind of special branding. But, for all its old-school charm, the T715 combines a solid set of up-to-date features with a stylish, understated design.

Sony Ericsson's budget Cyber-Shot

In a nutshell:
Sony Ericsson's budget Cyber-Shot phone is a real bargain. Costing half as much as the flagship C905, the C510 nevertheless offers an excellent 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, a flash and geo-tagging, plus Sony's usual high quality music player and an FM radio. The C510 also comes with 100 MB of memory, space for a memory card, Bluetooth and motion-sensor gaming. Available in Black or Silver.
